Hoping to see the northern lights last night after a pretty strong solar storm during the day, but it didn’t last. The Kp went from 7 to 3, and the interplanetary magnetic field was mostly north. If the field isn’t south, there is little chance of seeing anything decent. Especially at lower latitudes.
