The Toronto Marlies started their regular season this weekend against the Manitoba Moose, and Saturday was the first game with fans in the seats since March of 2020. They won the first game 5 – 1 on Saturday, but lost 5 – 0 on Sunday. Worse, Marlies winger, and Leafs prospect Nick Robertson suffered a non displaced fracture of his right fibula in Sunday’s game. Surgery won’t be required, but he’s expected to be out for at least 10 weeks.
Josh Ho-Sang was outstanding on Saturday, and scored two goals including this beauty, his first as a Marlie. Robertson with the assist.
