More X class flares than clear nights in 2023

Three X class flares; two clear nights so far. Kp5 last night, but the magnetic field was north all night. Clouds on the northern horizon made seeing Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) impossible.

The temperature hit -14°C, but Orion was nice. Mars is visible between Hyades and The Pleiades. Clouds really accentuate light pollution.

Lots of solar activity, so expect Northern lights if the clouds ever clear.
