Got up at 3 to head north and attempt to find C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS). By the time it rose it was pretty much daylight, so no sighting. Lots of fog on the drive up, but it was perfectly clear at Carden. SQM was 21.12. The sky was amazing, and zodiacal light was visible. Saw a couple coyotes and ruffed grouse on the way home.
