Last night I attended Dr. Roberta Bondar‘s Author Talk where she was discussing her new book: Space for Birds: Patterns and Parallels of Beauty and Flight. Focusing on (see what I did there?) Whooping Cranes in the western hemisphere, and Lesser Flamingos in the eastern hemisphere, Dr Bondar covered the plight of these 2 species as they teeter on the edge of extinction.
If you ever get the chance to see her speak, I highly recommend going. She is a fantastic photographer, and a wonderful speaker.
Then my Leafs beat the Panthers… What else is there to say?
