The Sun today in white light, and false colour hydrogen-alpha. We keep getting hit by severe geomagnetic storms in the daytime, so that’s fun. Sunspot region 4100 resembles Orion’s belt with 4099 looking like Betelgeuse. At least that’s what it looks like if you’re out in the Sun all day.
