Once again, Regulus and Mars

Nice night tonight. 17.2 °C, and no wind. Seeing is pretty good all things considered. Still under heavily light polluted skies… Mosquitoes are out. Haven’t seen any bats yet this year. 🙁

If you’ve never seen Albireo in a scope, it looks a bit like this. They will be tighter tomorrow, but for sure the weather will be dog shit here. If you want to see it live, but are blocked by clouds, or daylight, or just to lazy to stick your head out the window you can catch it with Gianluca Masi at the Virtual Telescope Project.

Field of view tonight. At arms length, both Regulus and Mars are covered by the fingernail on my pinkie finger.
