Technical issues tonight, but I got them. This was a bit of a test run, and I positioned myself poorly. Better luck next time.
Arrived in time to see the belt of Venus, and some autumn colours
C/2025 A6 (Lemmon)
I wasn’t sure how big the tail would be, so I shot very wide. It wasn’t visible naked eye, and was barely a smudge in binoculars. Didn’t have much time before it got into the trees. Mornings are probably a better option. There are a ridiculous number of satellites in every frame.
C/2025 R2 (SWAN)
There were some high thin clouds in the west, but the rest of the sky was clear. The Milky way was very nice. Nice little tail.
