7℃ and damp up at Carden Alvar tonight.

Forgot the sky quality meter, but it was pretty dark. Seeing was not great, and the comet is probably better after it rises than before it sets…

It was a little easier to find tonight since it was basically right between Cor Caroli and Chara. While it couldn’t be seen without binoculars it seemed a bit brighter than on Monday. The tail was a little underwhelming. Not sure if the seeing conditions or the comet were to blame. There are some galaxies in the image. See the annotated image below:

- The Cocoon Galaxy with NGC 4485
- NGC 4618
- NGC 4625

All in all a good night. Rajesh got some really cool shots, looking forward to seeing them. Hopefully it keeps getting better.
