Back in January 2015 a bunch of us went out to get C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy). Before the Moon and Jupiter rose, we saw some light pillars. It was pretty cold that night…

After the 91.9% illuminated waning gibbous Moon rose, and everything started to get washed out, we saw some nice Moon dogs. Jupiter is to the left of the Moon.

Got this a few days later

It was cold that night too.
