Back on April 3rd of 2013, Comet C/2011 L4 PanSTARRS was in same field of view with Messier 31 (the Andromeda Galaxy). I was able to capture this from Kirkfield Ontario at around 9:16 pm as they were setting behind the trees. It’s a single 45 second frame shot on a Canon 5D MK II with a 300mm f4.0 lens shot at ISO 1600. The objects were tracked using a Star Adventurer. The comet didn’t have much colour to it.
