House Wren, Trilliums and Thunderstorm

28°C and sunny today. Blackflies are coming out… I suspect the fireflies will be out in a couple weeks. We are still 2 weeks away from the new moon.

I sat and watched this guy for a while. I’m pretty happy with my new shotgun mic, it eliminates lots of wind noise that would have ruined this shot.

This is one of the nicest 200′ of road I’ve ever seen

Ran into a brief thunder shower today, but didn’t see any lightning although the detector was going off constantly for about 15 minutes.
