Tomorrow is the big day. A total solar eclipse over a large swath North America including a good chunk of southern Ontario. The weather today would have been perfect, but the forecast for tomorrow isn’t looking too good…
At least I was able to get Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks. I waited too late, and this is likely the best shot I’ll get before it disappears over the horizon to be seen only in the southern hemisphere. This is a stack of thirty 5 second frames.

Also with Jupiter. The moons are (top to bottom) Callisto, Ganymede, and Europa. 2 8 second frames.

If you are getting clouds tomorrow, or out of the path of totality, or just too lazy to look out your window. you can tune in to the Virtual Telescope Project.
