The Sun today in Hydrogen-alpha (Hα) with sunspot region 3004, prominences and, filaments. This is a false colour image, as it was shot with a PGR Chameleon monochrome camera. The scope is a Coronado SolarMax II 60 Double Stack, and the mount is a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer.
The image was created using stacked images from 500 frames of video captured with Fly Capture software, and processed in Registax and Photoshop.
